TOUGH’N’ROUGH 2022: all the facts for the 2022 season

The planning for the 2022 season is in full swing. Make sure you mark the dates in your calendar, have your teampartner ready and know about the minimal requirements per category. Here, you find all you need to know at a glance.

In 2022, we continue what we started in 2020. We still offer you a team competition, male and female, in three categories over an online qualifier and a two-day-final.

Calender

• Registration: starting on 6th of May 2022, until 25th of June
• Qualification fee: CHF 50 per team
• Online qualification: 3rd to 25th of June 2022
• Three qualification workouts
• Announcement of all three qualification workouts at the same time.
• Cashprizes in all categories for the podium at the final.
• Information about your participation at the final around mid July 2022
• Finals for all categories on the 24th and 25th of September 2022
• Below, you will find the requirements for RX, Intermediate and Scaled.

Qualification and requirements

The Qualification takes place in June. You will have three weeks to complete three workouts. The order in which you complete the workouts is on you. We will release all the workouts at the same time. You will get a workout description, a video and a scorecard. The registration is open until the end of the qualification. You can not change your teammember after you have completed the qualification workouts.

To figure out which category suits you best, we have outlined the requirements for the category «Intermediate». If those numbers and movements look easy, your category will be «RX», if they look very challenging, your category will be «Scaled».

Final

You will be participating in the two day final in September, 24th and 25th, in St. Gallen. There are spots for all the categories. Make sure to be ready for everything our sport has to offer. For example, in 2021, our teams were taken to a stair run close by. This year, we will have great things ready for you. Be prepared, because we will be.

If you make it to the podium, there will be cashprizes for you, in every categories.

Location

The final takes place in the Athletik Zentrum St. Gallen. A location that has everything you need as an athlete: Warm-up area, enough changing rooms and showers, parking, close to public transport and hotels, modern, open and enough space for your fans. Also, your fans can look forward to stands very close to the competition floor, great fresh food, freshly brewed coffee, a vendor village and maybe event the opportunity to participate in an spectator event. The location even offers small, simple rooms. We will let you know about the details with the information for the final.
