TOUGH’N’ROUGH 2026: Compete for CHF 10’000 in St. Gallen

Are you ready to push your limits and showcase your athleticism with us? We’re excited to invite you to compete for your share of at least CHF 10’000 in cash prices! We’ve gathered all the important information you’ll need as an athlete right here, just for you. So, grab your partner, come up with a fun team name, and sign up! The biggest competition floor in Switzerland, along with the most diverse workouts, is waiting for you to make unforgettable memories.

Calender

• Online qualification: 11.06. – 04.07.2026
• Final: 11. – 13.09.2026 in St. Gallen. Elite and RX from 11. – 13.09., Intermediate and Master 12. – 13.09., Scaled 12.09.2026
• Registration: from now until 04.07.2026

Online Qualifier

• Qualification fee: CHF 49 per team
• Divisions: Elite, RX, Intermediate, Scaled, Master 35+ (both athletes are 35 years old on the 11.09.2026).
• Three qualification workouts
• All workouts can be done individually.
• Announcement of all three qualification workouts at the same time.
• Changing partners during the qualification is possible. Both team members do the workouts. The results you put in the leaderboard have to be from the two team members.
• Possibility to change partners after the invitation to the final: If one of the team member can not make it to the final after your team has qualified and registered for the final, you can switch the partner. The new partner can be anyone. One team members must have participated in the online qualification.

Cooperation with other Competitions

1 Qualifier – 3 Competitions! TnR is partnering with the German Throwdown and the Austrian Throwdown, to offer you the chance to participate in one, two or three competitions with just one qualifier. You do the workouts once – and you can participate in one, two or three competitions. Just sign-up for all of them, and upload your videos in all the qualifiers.

Divisions

TnR is a team competition, mixed teams of two in five divisions: Elite, RX, Intermediate, Scaled and Master 35+. The requirements for each divison are valid for the online qualifier. No matter where you stand, there’s an opportunity for you to compete, challenge yourself, and leave it all on the competition floor.

Elite and RX will have the same qualifier and one leaderboard. According to the team’s performance, it will then be an Elite Team (rank 1 – 10) or an RX-Team (rank 11 to 40) at the final.

Requirements

To figure out which division suits you best, we have outlined the requirements for you. If you are 35 or older on the 27th of September 2025, you can also opt for «Master 35+»

The Final

• All divisons will have the chance to participate in the final.
• There will be 10 spots for Elite, 30 for RX, 40 for Intermediate, 20 for Scaled and 10 for Master 35+.
• Elite and RX work out over three days (Friday to Sunday).
• Intermediate and Master 35+ work out over two days (Saturday to Sunday)
• Scaled works out on Saturday.
• Cashprizes for the podium spots for Elite, RX, Intermediate and Master 35+.

Cash price of at least CHF 10’000

With at least CHF 10’000 in cash prizes up for grabs, you can really make it count. In the Elite Division, the top will win at least CHF 2’500.

Whether you’re aiming for the podium or simply striving to surpass your personal best, the opportunity to win your share of the prize pool adds an extra layer of excitement and motivation to the competition.

Location

The final takes place in St. Gallen, featuring the biggest competition floor in Switzerland with more than 700m², at the Athletik Zentrum St. Gallen. A location that has everything you need as an athlete: Warm-up area, ahtlete area, enough changing rooms and showers, parking, close to public transport and hotels, modern, open and enough space for your fans. Also, your fans can look forward to stands very close to the competition floor, great fresh food, freshly brewed coffee and a vendor village.
